BIO:  This is a simple project I made for my wife.  She enjoys primitive country type things so I designed this in CAD and finally got to building it.  It was a quick project.  Without considering planing and squaring the lumber it was only about a 5 hour build.  I made use of dados and rabbit joints which were all reinforced with glue and finishing nails.  I don't normally use finishing nails but I did enjoy not having to wait for my project to dry before I could proceed.  I also made the dowel myself on my lathe.  I don't turn very much at all so that was a lot of fun.
If you're interested I have plans available for this project.  It can be found under The Castle.  You do have to be a member to access this link, but registration and content is currently free!  Thanks for looking, let me know what you think!
